There are reports that Meizu is expected to release the Meizu 20 series next month. The company plans to launch the Meizu 20 in March 2023 instead of the Meizu 19 series.
This morning, the Meizu 20 and Meizu 20 Pro batteries were listed on the 3C certification database, revealing the phone’s battery specifications.
The BA381 belongs to the Meizu 20. It has a rated capacity of 4,600mAh and a typical capacity of 4,700mAh. Compared to the Meizu 18, the battery capacity has been increased by 600mAh.
The XA24751 belongs to the Meizu 20 Pro. It has a rated capacity of 4,670mAh and a typical capacity of 4,800mAh. The battery capacity of the device has just been increased by 170mAh. However, judging from this leak, we can expect the Meizu 20 series to have a longer battery life than the Meizu 18.
A few days ago, the renders of the Meizu 20 Pro were also revealed. The renders show that the phone will feature a new flat-edge bezel design instead of rounded edges (like the Meizu 18). The Meizu 20 Pro will also feature a new minimalist vertical camera module on the back.
Both phones are expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The chipset is based on a 4nm TSMC process and features a new architecture. The source also claims that the LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage will be one of the main highlights of the Meizu 20 series.
In an official teaser, the company has revealed that this lineup will feature the ultrasonic fingerprint 2.0, which supports fast wet-hand unlocking in 0.075 seconds. At the same time, Pandaer will release the official tempered glass film, which can resolve the compatibility issue between ultrasonic fingerprint sensors and tempered glass films.
