A few days before, it was reported that Meizu had started working on its next-generation smartphone series “Meizu 21.” Even the models from this series also got listed on various certification sites which denoted that the officials might reveal it soon. And finally today, the officials have confirmed this.
This morning, Meizu officially announced that the company is going to hold a new event named “2023 Meizu Autumn Unbounded Ecological Conference” happening on November 30th at 2:30 PM, as per Chinese Timing.
In this event, the company will reveal many new devices including the main Meizu 21 series, Flyme and Flyme Auto ecosystem, Meizu’s AR Smart Glasses, PANDAER, and many other products.
Except for this, the official announcement didn’t consist of anything more. As per previous news, it was reported that both models (standard and pro) will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen3 chipset from Qualcomm that is based on TSMC’s 2nd Generation manufacturing process and consists of 1x Cortex-X4 Super Core, the all-new Snapdragon X75 5G modem and Adreno 750 GPU.
In addition, the standard model was also listed on 3C certification previously with 80W charging which shows that the Meizu has upgraded the charging power on the standard model as well.
In other aspects, it was reported that the Meizu 21 series will feature a vertically aligned camera setup that also includes an RGB ring flashlight. This setup would include a primary 50MP lens with OIS support and a telephoto lens. In terms of display, both models are reported to feature the same flat design single punch-hole display as in predecessor models (also consists of a single punch-hole).
In the coming days, it is expected that Meizu will start revealing the major highlights of its upcoming Meizu 21 series until the launch event happens.
