RedMagic is ready to launch the successor at the upcoming event on November 23rd. Ahead of the official launch, we saw a major device leak that revealed a significant aspect of gaming devices.
This morning, the Nubia NX769J was listed on the Antutu benchmark, and it belongs to the RedMagic 9 Pro. The listing reveals the device’s base specifications and benchmark scores.
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which is currently the best chipset from Qualcomm. The chipset is based on TSMC’s 4nm manufacturing process and has one Cortex-X4 super core, five Cortex-A720 cores, and two Cortex-A520 cores.
With this chipset, the device has scored a total of 2,290,773 points, which includes 516,397 points for CPU, 904,492 points for GPU, 457,734 points for memory, and 412,150 points for UX. It is worth mentioning that the GPU is the Adreno 750, which is the integrated GPU of the Snapdragon 8 Gen3.
The benchmark also mentions that the phone has 24GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and runs the latest Android 14.
According to previous news, the RedMagic 9 Pro will feature a body with a thickness of 8.9 mm, which is indeed thin and light in the gaming smartphone segment. It has a triple camera module on the back, including a 50MP main lens. On the front, the smartphone will retain the same under-display camera module as its predecessor.
