Moto G51 5G Listed On 3C Certification with 10W Charging

This morning, Motorola XT2171-3 has been listed on the 3C Certification site. As per sources, this model number belongs to the successor version of Moto G50 5G, named Moto G51 5G. The certification has revealed the charging specifications of the device.

As mentioned, the new Moto G51 5G will come with the MC-108 charger that supports charging at 10W (5V/2A) only. Surprisingly, it has been observed that the charging power has been downgraded from 15W to 10W. Maybe, the battery capacity has been reduced, or the actual model might feature more high-power charging.

It is worth mentioning that the applicant for this certification is “Motorola Mobility Technologies (China) Company Limited.”

In the past, it has been seen that the same model number and its codename (Cyprus 5G) have already been listed on various certification sites. A report revealed that the Moto G51 5G would feature a Full-HD+ display instead of an HD+ display on Moto G50 5G.

The camera specifications are also expected to be upgraded. Now, it would use a 50MP main sensor along with an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro sensor.

The most significant change that would happen is the chipset. The new Moto G51 5G will feature the Snapdragon 750G 5G chipset (as revealed through Geekbench). The old version uses the Dimensity 700 chipset.

It is expected that the new Moto G51 5G will be launched next month (November 2021).
