Motorola Moto X40 gets 3C certification with 125W charging

Motorola has already announced that the Moto X40 will be launched on December 15. However, as the launch event approaches, more information about the Moto X40 has been revealed.

This morning, a new Motorola device with the model number XT2301-5 appeared on the 3C certification website. According to sources, this model number belongs to the Motorola Moto X40, and its charging specifications have been revealed.

According to 3C certification, the Motorola Moto X40 comes with a 68W MC-688N charger and a 125W MC-1258 GaN charger. Other than that, the 3C certification did not reveal any further information.

Sources claim that the Moto X40 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8th Gen 2 chipset, built on the latest TSMC 4nm process and featuring the following cores: one Cortex-X3 super core, two Cortex-A715 cores, two Cortex-A710 cores, and three Cortex-A510 cores.

The phone has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 10-bit color depth. It measures 161.3 x 73.9 x 8.5 mm and weighs approximately 196g.

The Motorola Moto X40 features a triple camera module with a 50MP main lens, a 50MP lens, and a 12MP lens. According to reports, the Moto X40 will come in two battery versions: one with a 4950mAh battery that might support 68W fast charging and the other with a 4450mAh battery that supports 125W fast charging.

We expect Motorola to reveal some highlights ahead of the launch of the Motorola Moto X40.
