Motorola Moto X40 Got 3C Certification with 125W Charging

Motorola has already announced that the all-new Moto X40 will be launched on December 15 (coming Thursday). However, as the launch is near, much new information is being revealed regarding the upcoming Moto X40. Recently, we got another major leak regarding it.

This morning, a new device from Motorola carrying model number: XT2301-5 got listed on 3C Certification. As per sources, the model number belongs to the Motorola Moto X40, and its charging specifications got revealed.

As per 3C Certification, the all-new Motorola Moto X40 got certified with a 68W charger (20V/3.4A, having model number: MC-688N) and a 125W GaN charger (20V/6.25A, having model number: MC-1258). Both of the chargers also support charging at the following modes: 15W (5V/3A), 27W (9V/3A), and 45W (15V/3A).

Except this, the 3C Certification has revealed nothing more.

Previously, it was revealed that the all-new Moto X40 would be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset, which is based on the latest TSMC 4nm manufacturing process and has the following cores: 1x Cortex-X3 Super Core, 2x Cortex-A715 and 2x Cortex-A710 Performance Cores and 3x Cortex-A510 Energy-Efficient Cores.

It is also known to feature a 6.67 inches AMOLED Display which supports Full-HD+ resolution and 10-bit color depth. The device’s measurements are 161.3×73.9×8.5mm, and it weighs around 196g.

In terms of camera, the Motorola Moto X40 features a triple camera setup including a 50MP Primary lens, another 50MP lens, and a 12MP lens. Further, the reports claimed that the Motorola Moto X40 would be available in two battery versions: one with a 4950mAh battery that might support 68W charging and the second with a 4450mAh battery that supports 125W charging.

We can expect Motorola to reveal a few highlights of its upcoming Motorola Moto X40 before its launch.
