Red Magic 6 will have a 4500mAh battery and support 120W fast charging

A few months ago, Nubia launched the Red Magic 5S with the Snapdragon 865 SoC. At that time, the phone did not come with the latest Snapdragon chipset. Currently, Nubia is focusing on developing the successor to the Red Magic 5S, which will feature the Snapdragon 888 5G chipset.

Today, Ni Fei, President of ZTE, officially confirmed that the Nubia Red Magic 6 is about to be released. The CEO confirmed the existence of this smartphone by revealing its charging specifications.

According to the poster, the Nubia Red Magic 6 will have a 4500mAh battery and support 120W fast charging. The charger is called a gallium nitride charger. It is claimed that the phone’s battery can be fully charged in 15 minutes, and other smartphone manufacturers have also launched similar features.

It has been confirmed that the Red Magic 6 will feature the Snapdragon 888 5G chipset. When the Snapdragon 888 5G was launched in December 2020, Qualcomm also announced a list of manufacturers developing smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 888.

Nubia is also mentioned on the list. The Snapdragon 888 5G is an octa-core chipset manufactured using a 5nm process and features a Cortex-X1 core clocked at 2.84 GHz.

The CEO did not reveal the release date, but this phone is expected to hit the market next month. The upcoming Black Shark 4 will compete with this smartphone.
