This morning, Digital Chat Station announced the specifications of the Red Magic 8 Pro, which are as follows:
The Red Magic 8 Pro will feature a 6.8-inch OLED display with an ultra-narrow bezel for a more immersive visual experience. This OLED screen will also support eye-protection dimming to help protect users’ eyes during long-term use.
The phone measures 163.98 x 76.35 x 8.9 mm and weighs about 228 grams. Compared to the Red Magic 7s Pro, this device is significantly lighter but thicker. There will be two battery options: 5000 mAh and 6000 mAh. Both will support 165W charging.
The phone has a triple rear camera module, including the following lenses: 50MP, 8MP, and 2MP. The front uses an under-display single-camera with a 16MP lens, which does not appear on the screen when not in use.
Lastly, the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which is the main highlight of the device. This chipset is manufactured using TSMC’s 4nm process and features the following cores: one Cortex-X3 super core, two Cortex-A715 cores, two Cortex-A710 cores, and three Cortex-A510 cores.
