Back in March 2022, Realme introduced its Realme GT Neo 3, one of the industry’s most affordable sub-flagship smartphones. However, the reports claim that the successor model of this lineup is also on the way as the information regarding some major aspects of this device was revealed.
As per famous blogger @Digital Chat Station, the Realme GT Neo 5 will be available in two battery options in which the first one (BLP985) will have a 5000mAh Dual-Cell battery (2425mAh*2) with 150W charging, and the second one (BLP987) have a 4600mAh Dual-Cell battery (2225mAh*2) with 240W charging.
In many Chinese smartphones brand, we have seen that the number ‘4’ always gets skipped, and now Realme is adopting the same trend for its GT Neo series’ successor and launching the 5th model after the 3rd one.
It is also worth mentioning that in the comment section, the blogger also revealed many other highlights, like its camera details. He said that the new Realme GT Neo 5 would feature Sony IMX890 OIS Primary Camera, more powerful and capable when compared with previous GT Neo 3’s camera setup.
In addition, the blogger also replied to the query of a netizen in which he revealed that the upcoming Redmi K60 series would feature two different versions: one supports 67W charging, and another supports 120W fast charging.
It is worth mentioning that the previous model, Realme GT Neo 3, was powered by the Dimensity 8100 chipset. Usually, this lineup features sub-flagship segment chipset-powered smartphones, so the Realme GT Neo 5 would most probably be powered by the Dimensity 8200 sub-flagship chipset.
At the moment, there is no information regarding the launch of the Realme GT Neo 5. However, as per our expectations, the new model will be released in the first month of 2023.
