This morning, Nubia announced that the company will launch the Z40 Pro on February 25. The previous leaks suggested that this device will feature a 35mm Sony IMX787 primary lens.
According to previous information, the device will come with 16GB of RAM and the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, which is based on Samsung’s 4nm manufacturing process. This chipset includes the Cortex-X2 core, Adreno 730 GPU, and X65 5G modem.
The previous teasers have indicated that the main highlights, such as camera specifications, display, and appearance, are expected to remain similar to its predecessor. Another key highlight of the device is the new wireless magnetic charger.
It is worth mentioning that this would be the first-ever Android phone to feature magnetic wireless charging. The magnetic wireless charger will be similar to Apple’s MagSafe charger in appearance. However, the official did not reveal its charging speed.
As for the full list of specs, we’ll have to wait for the official launch event, which will take place on February 25th.
