This morning, Nubia announced that it will launch the Z40 Pro on February 25. Previous leaks suggested that the device will feature a Sony IMX787 main camera with a 35mm focal length.
According to previous reports, the device will come with 16GB of RAM and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset built on Samsung’s 4nm process. This chipset features a Cortex-X2 core, an Adreno 730 GPU, and an X65 5G modem.
The previous teasers show the device’s main highlights, such as camera specifications, display, and appearance, which are expected to continue the style of its predecessor. Another key highlight is the new wireless magnetic charger.
It is worth mentioning that this will be the first Android phone support magnetic wireless charging. The magnetic wireless charger will look similar to Apple’s MagSafe charger. However, Nubia has not disclosed its charging speed.
As for the complete list of specifications, we will have to wait until the launch event on February 25.
