It was reported that nubia is planning to launch the successor of its last year, nubia Z30 Pro, a camera-focused smartphone with the latest generation CPU. Today, nubia has put this leaks and rumors thread to an end by officially confirming the launch detail of the upcoming flagship smartphone.

This morning, nubia (on official Weibo) has announced that the company will launch the all-new Z40 Pro on February 25 at 2 PM (Chinese Timing). The previous leaks suggested that this device would feature a 35mm Sony’s custom IMX787 primary lens, but the latest launch poster has confirmed this.

nubia Z40 Pro Launch Date

As per previous information, the device would feature a massive 16GB RAM and the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen1 flagship chipset, based on Samsung’s 4nm manufacturing process in addition to the Super Cortex-X2 Powerful core, Adreno 730 GPU, and X65 5G modem for making a solid performance package.

Moreover, through previous teasers, the main highlights like camera specifications, display, and appearance are expected to remain almost similar to the previous generation model. Another main highlight of the device would be the all-new wireless magnetic charger.

It is worth mentioning that this would be the first-ever Android phone to feature magnetic wireless charging. The magnetic wireless charger would be similar to Apple’s Magsafe charger in terms of appearance. However, the officials didn’t reveal its charging speed.

For the full specs list, we have to wait for the official launch event (coming on February 25).
