A few days before, the sub-brand of ZTE (nubia) revealed that the company would launch the all-new nubia Z50S Pro on July 20 in a launch event. As the date is near, the officials continuously reveal the significant highlights. Recently, the company has announced the device’s appearance in addition to some specs.
Starting from the display, the nubia Z50S Pro features a Super Retina Display with 1.5K resolution and eye-protection support. The display is a straight glass panel with a single punch hole in the middle top. The smartphone’s frame also seems very well-controlled and is a right-angle frame.
Next, we have the backside texture of the device. The nubia Z50S Pro features a dual texture back with exquisite lines. The combination of dual texture consists of leather and other part that seem ceramic. Moreover, the smartphone also uses a “Calfskin glass classic camera design.”
The camera module consists of three camera lenses, and there is a new 35mm custom large-aperture lens and sensor, offering increased light sensitivity by 56% and a 34% boost in light input. It also includes a 1G+6P professional optical lens with a high Abbe number, blue glass spin-coated IR filters, a 3D Lut professional engine, and Lightning Capture Upgrade 4.0 for improved photography capabilities.
Regarding the chipset, the nubia Z50S Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 overclocked version, the same chipset version used in nubia Red Magic 8S Pro. The chipset has the highest frequency of 3.36GHz on Cortex-X3 Super Core, while the rest are the same as the standard Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset. In terms of battery, the smartphone will feature a 5100mAh battery in addition to 80W wired fast charging.

It is also worth mentioning that the Nubia Z50S Pro has a large-area bionic design VC chip that adopts a plant bionic channel design. Additionally, it features 9 high-precision NTC temperature sensors that can detect body temperature and dynamically adjust the cooling strategy in real-time.
The all-new nubia Z50S Pro will be launched on July 20 at 2 PM (as per Chinese Timing).
