Xiaomi Pad 6 Max and Redmi Pad 2 gets 3C certification, charging specs revealed

A few months ago, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Pad 870 with Snapdragon 6. In addition, Redmi also launched its first tablet in October 2022. According to the latest news, the two brands are working on a new device for their tablet lineup.

This morning, two new models were listed on the 3C certification. The 2307BRPDCC is said to be the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max, which will probably be a large-screen version of the Xiaomi Pad 6. The 23073RPBFC is expected to be the Redmi Pad 2.

The expected Xiaomi Pad 6 Max supports a maximum fast charging of 67W. It uses the MDY-12-EF charger, which supports charging in the following modes: 15W-67W, 15W, and 31W-67W.

The Redmi Pad 2 supports a maximum of 22.5W charging. As mentioned, the company will ship the following charger with Redmi Pad 2 MDY-09-EK (or MDY-14-ER), which supports a maximum of 18W charging, while the 22.5W MDY-11-EM charger will be optional for buyers.

The Xiaomi Pad 6 Max will probably have the same specifications, but the display specs will be different. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 870 5G chipset.

The Redmi Pad 2 is reportedly powered by the Snapdragon 680. The chipset is based on a 6nm manufacturing process and features the following cores: 4x Cortex-A73 P-cores at 2.4GHz and 4x Cortex-A53 E-cores at 1.9GHz.

There is no launch information about both devices at the moment, but both are expected to be launched next month.
