After the release of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, every smartphone manufacturer has launched their new phones. Therefore, OnePlus cannot afford to be left behind in this competition.
This morning, OnePlus founder Pete Lau officially revealed that the OnePlus 10 Pro will be launched in January 2022. However, he did not mention a specific release date or any other details.
According to sources, the OnePlus 10 series will include three devices: OnePlus 10R, OnePlus 10, and OnePlus 10 Pro.
The OnePlus 10R is expected to feature an old chipset like the Snapdragon 888 or the Dimensity 9000. In contrast, the OnePlus 10 and OnePlus 10 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, which was also confirmed by founder Pete Lau before.
In addition, the OnePlus 10 Pro specifications have been revealed. The phone will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a hole in the top left corner, which has a 2K+ (QHD+) resolution and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will have a 32MP lens in the punch-hole.
The phone will feature a triple-camera module on the back, including a 48MP primary lens, a 50MP ultra-wide angle lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens (3x optical zoom). The device will support 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
