After the launch of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, major smartphone manufacturers have launched their new phones. Therefore, OnePlus cannot afford to be left behind in this competition.
This morning, OnePlus founder Pete Lau announced that the OnePlus 10 Pro will launch in January 2022. However, he did not mention a specific release date or any other details.
According to sources, the OnePlus 10 series will include three devices: OnePlus 10R, OnePlus 10, and OnePlus 10 Pro.
The OnePlus 10R is expected to feature an older chipset, such as the Snapdragon 888 or the Dimensity 9000. In contrast, the OnePlus 10 and OnePlus 10 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, which has already been confirmed by Pete Lau.
In addition, the OnePlus 10 Pro specifications have been revealed. The phone will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a punch hole in the top left corner, with a 2K+ (QHD+) resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will have a 32MP lens in the punch-hole.
The back of the phone will feature a triple camera module, including a 48MP main lens, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens (supporting 3x optical zoom). The device supports 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
