At 10 o’clock this morning, OnePlus revealed that the OnePlus 9 screen has obtained the DisplayMate A+ certification, refreshing 13 display records, with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It also has a true 10bit panel with 1 billion colors, 8192-level brightness adjustment, automatic color temperature sensing, and other technologies.
More importantly, the OnePlus 9 series will also become the world’s first mobile phone equipped with LTPO flexible screens, which can bring smart refresh rates and lower power consumption.
According to the data, LTPO is a different OLED production technology. Compared with the LTPS technology, LTPO has the advantages of higher charge mobility and faster pixel response, which makes the screen’s response faster and reduces the power consumption.
Another major advantage of the LTPO screen is that it supports a high-range refresh rate adjustment, and it can realize 1-120hz adaptive refresh rate adjustment, which can be switched according to the usage scenario, taking into account the needs of high refresh rate and low power consumption.
It has been rumored that Apple will also provide LTPO screens for iPhone 13 Pro series to achieve high refresh rate.
