A few days before, OnePlus officially announced that it would launch the all-new OnePlus Ace 2 Pro on August 16 (next Wednesday) at 2:30 PM (as per Chinese timing). However, as the launch time is coming near, OnePlus is teasing the major highlights of its Ace series flagship model.
This morning, OnePlus officially revealed that the all-new OnePlus Ace 2 Pro would be equipped with a Q9+ flexible AMOLED Display (manufactured by BOE) that sizes around 6.74 inches and supports 120Hz refresh rate, 2772*1240p display resolution, 450 PPI (pixel per inch), 1600nits peak brightness and HDR10+.
In addition, the display has 2.17mm narrow bezels, which seem pretty thin. Moreover, the display supports 1.07 billion display colors, providing a good display color experience.
As mentioned in the official announcement, this Q9+ OLED Display in the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro has five main advantages: improved color cast, low light optimization, brightness improvement, effect enhancement, and weakened smear. All these characteristics make the display experience much better.
As per previous info, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is confirmed to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset that is based on TSMC’s 4nm manufacturing process and features the following cores: 1x Cortex-X3 Ultra-Core (@3.2GHz), 2x Cortex-A715 and 2x Cortex-A710 P-Cores and 3x Cortex-A510 E-Cores.

In addition, the new model from OnePlus also features a 50MP Primary lens (Sony IMX890 lens), an 8MP Ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. The front side would feature a 16MP selfie lens inside the display’s punch-hole. Inside the phone is a 5000mAh battery with 150W charging.
The device would be available in two color schemes: Sea Green and Grey. The top variant will feature 24 Gigs of RAM in addition to 1TB of storage. The pricing of the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will be revealed on launch day. In the coming days, OnePlus is expected to tease the other highlights of its upcoming model.
