In February 2023, OnePlus launched the OnePlus Ace 2 with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. However, according to the latest leaks, OnePlus is developing the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro.
This morning, Digital Chat Station revealed some information about the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro. As the blogger stated, the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
This chipset is manufactured using TSMC’s 4nm process and features an octa-core architecture. It has a Cortex-X3 prime core clocked at 3.36 GHz, an X70 5G modem, and an Adreno 740 GPU.
The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will feature an ultra-narrow bezel display with curved edges and support 1.5K resolution. The blogger also said that this screen seems to use new technology and is being tested by BOE.
According to some sources, several specifications of the OnePlus Ace2 Pro, such as the camera and battery capacity, are expected to be the same as the Ace2.
It is worth mentioning that the OnePlus Ace 2 features a 6.7-inch punch-hole AMOLED display and is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It features a rear triple camera setup with a 50MP lens, an 8MP lens, and a 2MP lens, while the front camera has a 16MP lens. The device has a built-in 5000mAh battery and supports 100W fast charging.
Currently, the OnePlus Ace2 Pro is expected to launch between the third and fourth quarters of 2023.
