Today, iQOO officially announced that the iQOO Neo8 series will be launched on May 23. In the official announcement, we can see the appearance of this phone.
Before discussing this, it’s worth mentioning that the iQOO Neo8 series will have two devices: Neo8 and Neo8 Pro. The Neo8 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The Neo8 Pro is confirmed to be powered by the Dimensity 9200+ chipset.
The iQOO Neo8 Pro will feature a red textured leather back cover. The rectangular camera module features a carbon fiber design and a dual-camera. The primary sensor is expected to be a Sony IMX866V 50MP lens, customized by Vivo, and it will also support optical image stabilization (OIS).
Under the camera module, there is a Neo brand. The teaser also revealed that the Neo8 Pro will be equipped with the Vivo V1 ISP chip.
According to leaks and rumors, the iQOO Neo8 Pro will have a 6.78-inch punch-hole AMOLED screen that supports 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen will also feature an under-display fingerprint scanner with a 16MP lens in the punch-hole.
As mentioned earlier, the Neo8 Pro will be powered by the Dimensity 9200+ chipset, which is an overclocked version of the standard Dimensity 9200. The chipset is based on the same TSMC 4nm manufacturing process and has the same core architecture but with a higher core frequency.
In the coming days, iQOO is expected to reveal the significant highlights of the phone ahead of the release date.
