It is reported that today OPPO has quietly launched a new phone in its famous A-Series. The smartphone is named OPPO A55 5G, and it seems to be the successor of OPPO A53.
OPPO A55 5G Specifications
The all-new OPPO A55 is equipped with a 6.5 Inches LCD Display. The display got a V-Shaped Notch and comes with the following specifications: HD+ resolution (1600x720p), 60Hz refresh rate with 60Hz touch sampling rate, 269 PPI Pixel Density, 480 nits Brightness, 1500:1 Contrast Ration. The display has an 88.7% screen-to-body ratio.

Chipset & Battery:
Inside the phone, the entry-level 5G chipset from MediaTek, Dimensity 700, has been used. The Dimensity 700 is an octa-core chipset based on a 7nm manufacturing process. The chipset has the highest frequency of 2.2 GHz with a Cortex-A76 core. It uses the Mail-G57 MC2 GPU. A 5000mAh Battery with maximum 10W charging support is also there.
In terms of camera, the OPPO A55 is equipped with a triple camera setup (13+2+2MP). The primary 13MP lens is a wide lens with an aperture of f/2.2, and the second lens is a 2MP macro lens with an aperture of f/2.4, the third one is a 2MP depth lens with an aperture of f/2.4. On the front side, there is a single 8MP lens with an aperture of f/2.0.

The phone is available in only one storage variant: 6+128GB, priced at 1499 RMB (Equivalent to 231 USD). It is available in two different colors: Brisk Blue & Rhythm Black.
The phone uses a Type-C port for charging purposes. In addition, the 3.5mm headphone jack and a side fingerprint scanner are also there.
