OPPO foldable phone to feature a Snapdragon 888 SoC, a 120Hz display, and a Sony IMX766 sensor

According to reports, OPPO’s first foldable phone will be launched in the second half of 2021. The latest news shows that we are not far from the release of the OPPO foldable phone.

OPPO Foldable Phone Specs

This morning, Digital Chat Station revealed the specifications of the OPPO foldable phone. As reported, the blogger got the testing device with a 7.8 to 8-inch main display. It will be an OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2K resolution.

The device will feature the Snapdragon 888 chipset. We expect the retail version to feature the Snapdragon 888 Plus with a main frequency of 3.0 GHz.

The phone has a Sony IMX766 50MP sensor on the rear. The blogger did not mention the total number of cameras. The front features a 32MP sensor. Key features such as the side-mounted fingerprint sensor and ColorOS 12 will also be major highlights of this device.

In recent months, competition for foldable phones in the Chinese market has become increasingly fierce. To gain a favorable position in the market, OPPO must take these necessary steps quickly and wisely.
