In December 2022, OPPO introduced its Reno9 series, in which the standard model was powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset. The company seems to have started working on the next generation of this lineup as the leaks and rumors regarding the new models are now getting revealed.
This morning, the famous blogger @DigitalChatStation (on Weibo) revealed the standard Reno10 series model specifications. As per the leaked specifications, the new OPPO Reno10 standard edition is expected to have many improvements over its predecessor model (OPPO Reno9).
As per the blogger, the new OPPO Reno10 will feature a larger 6.74 inches Single Centered Punch-Hole OLED Display with 1.5K resolution (instead of 6.7 inches with 2412*1080p resolution in the previous model). Inside the phone, a 4600mAh Dual Battery solution has been used, again 100mAh more than the previous model.
In terms of camera, the new OPPO Reno10 will feature an all-new periscope lens instead of a 2x portrait lens (as in the Reno9 standard version). The camera module design is also changed to an oval shape and consists of two camera lenses, including a 64MP primary lens and a periscope lens.
The blogger also mentioned that this new model would be equipped with a self-developed NPU chip. On the front side, the smartphone will feature a 32MP lens in the centered punch-hole.
However, the blogger hasn’t revealed the chipset. As expected, the new Reno10 standard will be powered by Snapdragon 7 series chipset or Dimensity 7000/8000 series. It is worth mentioning that the previous model (OPPO Reno9) was powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset.
Currently, there is no information regarding the launch of the Reno10 series. However, we can expect the launch before the first half of 2023.
