It has been two months since OPPO updated the Reno7 series. However, the latest developments indicate that the company is currently working on the next-generation models. We have reason to believe that OPPO will continue to uphold its premium design philosophy and deliver an exceptional user experience in the upcoming Reno series.
This morning, Digital Chat Station revealed the design and specifications of the OPPO Reno8 series. According to the leaked images, the series has undergone a major overhaul in its structural design.
As shown in the picture, the front design is quite similar to its predecessor, but the retail version is still expected to have slight design adjustments. The blogger also revealed that the device will feature a 6.55-inch single-punch-hole screen with Full HD+ (2400 x 1080) resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The camera module is the most significant change we observed on the back. The camera module now features a square design and is attached to the side, just like the camera layout of the Samsung Galaxy S22.
The camera module contains three lenses. It is currently difficult to determine whether the third ring houses a single lens or a dual lens. The LED flash has also been changed and now features a ring design. It is worth mentioning that the main lens uses a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor.
The Reno8 may use the MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset, while the Reno8 Pro is expected to feature the Dimensity 9000 or a high-end Snapdragon chipset.
At present, OPPO has not announced the existence of this phone. However, we will be able to see it soon.
