OPPO Reno9 Series is Officially Confirmed to Launch on November 24

It was highly rumored that OPPO has almost finalized the making of its Reno series successor. And finally this morning, the company officially announced the existence of this series on its social media platforms and also revealed its design and first appearance.

As per OPPO’s official Weibo post, the new OPPO Reno9 series will be launched on November 24 at 2:30 PM (as per Chinese Timing). In the official announcement, the OPPO has also revealed the teaser through which the device’s appearance can be observed properly.

Before discussing the appearance, it is worth mentioning that the company has also announced a new color scheme with its Reno9 series i.e. “Tomorrow Gold.” The teaser mentioned the standard version; it can be seen that it features a single punch-hole display which has a small-sized punch-hole at center-top.

The backside design is quite similar to the previous generation and the camera module now comes with a new cosmic star ring design, including the Polaris lens decoration and the night light design on the top of the starry sky. The smartphone is also available for pre-booking on JD.com (a Chinese E-commerce site) which has revealed its renders in three colors: Tomorrow Gold, Bright Moon Black, and Aurora.

As per sources, there would be a total of three models in the Reno9 lineup including the Standard, Pro, and Pro+ versions. The standard Reno9 is expected to feature a 6.7 inches OLED Display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a dual rear camera setup (64MP+2MP), the Snapdragon 778G chipset, and a larger 4500mAh battery with 67W charging.

Then we have the Pro model which would feature the same 6.7 inches display but a different chipset i.e. Dimensity 8100 Max, a better triple (50MP+8MP+Mariana Depth Lens) camera setup, and same 4500mAh battery with 67W charging.

At last, we have the Pro+ model which also features the same display, a stronger Quad-Camera (50MP+8MP+2MP+Mariana Depth Lens) setup, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset with a limited 3.0GHz frequency, a bigger 4700mAh battery with 80W charging. The Pro and Pro+ variants would be available in only two storage options: 12+256GB and 16+256GB while the color scheme is the same in all three models.

In the coming days, the officials will start releasing the major highlights of its Reno9 series until the launch date (November 24).
