Today, Philips and JD.com have worked together to launch the Philips X596 phone at JD.com’s headquarters. This phone will focus on price advantages and camera functionality to meet consumer demands.
The Philips X596 uses aerospace-grade aluminum alloy and features a 2.5D curved touchscreen on the front. The smartphone measures 156.4 x 77.4 x 8.35 mm and weighs 177.8g.
This device features a 5.5-inch IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and is powered by an octa-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor. The phone features a 16MP front camera for selfies and a 16MP rear camera. It comes with a 4000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging technology and runs the Android 7.1 operating system.
The Philips X596 will be available in two storage variants: 4GB of RAM with 32GB of ROM is priced at CNY 1,299 (approximately $171), and 4GB of RAM with 64GB of ROM is priced at CNY 1,499 (approximately $227).
The phone is currently available for pre-order at JD.COM and will go on sale on November 5 at 10:00 AM.
