Today, Philips and JD have worked together to launch the Philips X596 at JD’s headquarter. The X596 will focus on price and camera function to satisfy consumer’s demands.
The Philips X596 adopts aviation aluminum alloy material and 2.5D curved touchscreen on the front. The smartphone measures 156.4×77.4×8.35mm and it weighs 177.8g. For specification, it features a 5.5-inch IPS touchscreen with the resolution of 1.920 pixels by 1,080 pixels and is powered by octa-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor. The phone features the 16MP front shooter for selfies alongside the 16MP rear camera. The phone sports a 4,000mAh large battery supports 9V/2A fast charge and it runs on Android 7.1.
The Philips X596 will be available in two storage models: 4GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM is priced at CNY 1,299 (approximately $171), and 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM is priced at CNY 1,499 (approximately $227). At present, it has started the pre-orders on JD.COM, and it will be officially on sale at 10:00 am, November 5.
