Realme GT Neo Will Feature 64MP Sony IMX682 Sensor

Realme has already announced that the new version of the Realme GT series, named Realme GT Neo, is also coming. The announced launch date is March 31. The launch is just five days far from us and the officials have started teasing the main highlights of the phone.

Today, Realme has officially announced (on their Weibo account) that the upcoming Realme GT Neo will feature a 64MP ultra-clear primary camera sensor. The imaging sensor is the Sony IMX682 sensor, the same one, used in Realme GT (standard version).

The officials also mentioned, “the hardware directly produces 64 million pixel ultra-high-definition photos, and supports multi-frame synthesis technology, which can withstand zooming in and zooming in again!”

Sony IMX682 is a 64MP Sensor which has a 1/1.7-inch outsole, the flagship sensor is mature, and the hardware directly produces 64 million pixel ultra-high-definition photos.

As per previous info, the Realme GT Neo is already confirmed to feature Dimensity 1200 chipset. The Dimensity 1200 chipset is the world’s only 6nm based chipset used in smartphones. The chipset has a maximum frequency of 3.0 GHz (with Cortex-A76 core). The chipset also uses Mali-G77 MC9 GPU.

A few days ago, a device was also spotted on TENAA Certification with model number “RMX3116.” As per reports, the Realme GT Neo would be the same device. The model “RMX3116” has a measurement of about 159.9×73.4×7.8mm, equipped with a 6.55-inches screen, Dual 2200mAh batteries, 65W fast charging, and Android 11 system.

The previous model, Realme GT, was a great success for Realme, as it is the most affordable Snapdragon 888 powered smartphone currently in the market. As per officials, the sales amount of Realme GT exceeded 100M yuan in 10 seconds on March 10.
