Realme GT Neo will feature a 64MP Sony IMX682 sensor

Today, Realme announced that the Realme GT Neo will feature a 64MP ultra-clear main camera sensor. The imaging sensor is the Sony IMX682 sensor, the same one used in the Realme GT.

The official post also mentioned: ‘This hardware can directly output 64MPl ultra-high-definition photos and supports multi-frame synthesis technology, allowing for repeated zooming in without loss of quality!’

The Sony IMX682 is a 64MP sensor with a 1/1.7-inch size. This sensor uses mature technology and can directly output 64MP ultra-high-definition photos.

According to previous reports, the Realme GT Neo has already been confirmed to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. This is the world’s first 6nm smartphone chipset. It has a maximum frequency of 3.0 GHz and uses a Mali-G77 MC9 GPU.

A few days ago, a device with model number RMX3116 was also spotted on TENAA. According to reports, the Realme GT Neo is the same device. The RMX3116 measures about 159.9 x 73.4 x 7.8mm and has a 6.55-inch screen and a 4500 mAh battery. It runs Android 11.

The Realme GT was a great success for Realme, as it is the most affordable Snapdragon 888-powered smartphone currently on the market. According to Realme, Realme GT’s sales exceeded CNY 100 million in 10 seconds on March 10.
