Xiaomi Self-Developed Chip

As per our sources, this would be an ISP (Image Signal Processor) chip. Xiaomi has already announced that the upcoming Mi Mix (new Generation) will feature the company’s own liquid lens, so we can conclude that the self-developed chip is an ISP.

The purpose of ISP is that it is used for image processing in digital cameras or other image-capturing devices like smartphones.

In the upcoming event (on March 29), it is already known that Xiaomi will bring its new Generation of Mi Mix series, while the high-end versions of Xiaomi Mi 11 will also be announced. The high-end series includes Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra.

All the upcoming models are expected to feature the latest Qualcomm flagship chipset, Snapdragon 888. The Snapdragon 888 5G is an octa-core chipset based on a 5nm manufacturing chipset. It also features a Cortex-X1 core which takes the performance to another level.

For complete information regarding the upcoming self-developed chip from Xiaomi, we have to wait until March 29.
