This morning, Realme announced that the Realme GT5 will launch on August 28. The company also mentioned that the phone was designed specifically for Realme’s 5th anniversary.
Other than that, the official announcement does not contain anything significant. The poster also includes the Realme GT5, but judging its appearance is almost impossible.
According to previous reports, the Realme GT5 is expected to feature a 6.74-inch OLED display with a single punch hole, supporting a 1.5 K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The punch hole will house a 16MP selfie lens.
The Realme GT5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which is based on TSMC’s 2nd-generation 4nm manufacturing process. The chipset has a Cortex-X3 core and an Adreno 740 GPU.
On the back, the smartphone will have a triple camera in a rectangular module. It will consist of a 50MP primary lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP lens.
The Realme GT5 will be available in two battery models: a 4,600mAh battery (240W charging) and a 5,200mAh battery (150W charging). The top variant will come with 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of storage.
Realme is expected to unveil more details about its Realme GT5 in the coming days.
