A few days before, it was revealed that the sub-brand of Vivo (iQOO) is working on its upcoming iQOO Z8 series. The series is expected to consist of iQOO Z8 and iQOO Z8x. The second model (iQOO Z8x) also got listed on 3C Certification, which hints that a launch event might happen soon.
This morning, the famous blogger @DigitalChatStation (on Weibo) exposed the specifications of the standard iQOO Z8. This leak has revealed almost every aspect of the device, as discussed below.
As per the blogger, the iQOO Z8 will feature a single punch-hole flat LCD Display that is around 6.64 inches and supports Full-HD+ resolution (2388*1080p). Inside the punch-hole is a 16MP lens that would be used for selfie clicking.
On the backside, there is a dual camera setup that includes a 64MP lens (also supports OIS) and a 2MP lens (probably a macro or depth lens). Inside the iQOO Z8, the company has used a large-sized 5000mAh battery in addition to 120W super flash charging support.
Regarding the chipset, the iQOO Z8 will be powered by Dimensity 8200 sub-flagship category chipset from MediaTek. The chipset is one of the best in its category. It is based on 4nm TSMC’s manufacturing process and consists of 4x Cortex A78 P-Cores (1 clocked @3.1GHz and 3 clocked @3.0GHz) and 4x Cortex A55 E-Cores (clocked @2.0GHz). The GPU is Mali-G610 MC6.
In addition, the iQOO Z8 will be available in two RAM variants (8GB and 12GB RAM) and use the latest OriginOS 3.0. However, the pricing of the device isn’t known at the moment.
In the coming days, it is expected that iQOO will officially announce its iQOO Z8 series and its launch date.
