A few days before, it was reported that Realme had officially revealed the specifications of its Realme GT5, which includes its 240W fast charging support and 1TB storage. However, the company has not yet announced the launch date. But finally today the company has solved this problem too.
This morning, Realme (on Weibo) officially announced that the all-new Realme GT5 will be launched on August 28 at 2 PM (as per Chinese timing). The officials also mentioned that this model is specially designed for the brand’s 5th anniversary.
Except for this, the official announcement doesn’t consist of anything important. The launch poster also includes the Realme GT5, but judging its appearance is almost impossible.
As per previous news, the Realme GT5 will adopt a 6.74 inches OLED Single Centered Punch-Hole Display that would support 1.5k Full-HD+ resolution and a higher refresh rate (probably 120Hz). The single punch-hole would consist of a 16MP selfie lens.
Regarding the chipset, the Realme GT5 will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset. The chipset is the best option from Qualcomm and is based on 4nm TSMC’s 2nd Gen manufacturing process. In addition, the chipset features the Cortex-X3 Ultra-Core and Adreno 740 GPU (@680MHz).
On the backside, the smartphone will feature a triple camera setup in a rectangle-shaped module. It would consist of a 50MP primary lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP lens (probably a macro or depth lens).

It is also worth mentioning that Realme GT5 will be available in two battery variants (like predecessor models): a 4,600mAh battery with 240W charging and a 5200mAh battery with 150W charging. Moreover, the top variant will be equipped with 24 Gigs LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB Storage.
Realme is expected to reveal more highlights of its Realme GT5 in the coming days.
