Realme previously announced that it will launch the Q5 series on April 20. Apart from this news, little else is known about the device.
This morning, the Realme RMX3478 received TENAA certification. Sources indicate that this device is the Realme Q5. The certification also includes images and specifications of the device, which are mentioned and discussed below:
- 6.58-inch TFT punch-hole display
- Full HD+ resolution (2412 x 1080p and 16.7 million color depth
- Dimensions: 164.3 x 75.6 x 8.5mm, and weight: 195g
- 2.2 GHz main frequency chipset (probably Snapdragon 695 5G)
- 4890 mAh battery (supports 65W charging)
- Triple rear camera: 50MP, 2MP, 2MP and single 16MP front lens
- Side fingerprint scanner (integrated into lock screen button)
- 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB RAM with 128GB and 256GB storage options
- Color Options: dark day, peak blue, and aurora
According to the chipset frequency (as mentioned in the certification documents), the chipset is Snapdragon 695 5G, a mid-range chipset built on a 6nm process with a Cortex-A77 performance core.
Based on the design of the back of the phone, the Realme Q5 seems to be a rebranded version of the Realme V25 with slightly different specifications. Sources also claimed that the Q5 Pro will look very similar to the Q5 and will soon appear on the TENAA website.
