Yesterday, Redmi confirmed that the new gaming phone will be released at the end of April 2021. The phone has already been leaked and rumored for a long time.
Recently, a Redmi phone with the model number M2104K10AC appeared on the 3C certification website. According to previous leaks, this model number belongs to a new gaming phone that Redmi is about to release. The 3C certification revealed the charging specifications of this phone.
As shown, the gaming phone will come with a 67W charger with model number MDY-12-EF. The same charger is also used in the Mi 11 Ultra.
According to previous reports, the gaming phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200. This chipset uses a 6nm process and features one Ultra Cortex-A78 core clocked at 3 GHz, three Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.6 GHz, and four Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2 GHz.
Some reports also claimed that this gaming phone will feature a Samsung E4 material AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. It will also come with a 5000mAh battery, support 67W fast charging, and feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The name of the Redmi gaming phone has not yet been announced, and the phone will be launched by the end of this month.
