Xiaomi has done the same thing again, but this time with its sub-brand Redmi. A few days ago, the Redmi K30 Ultra was leaked on the TENAA website, suggesting the launch date is very near. Today, Redmi has confirmed its launch date.
The phone from Redmi is the Redmi K30 Extreme Commemorative Edition. The company announced this launch date on its Weibo account, stating that the phone will be launched on August 11 at 7:30 PM. The Xiaomi 10 Pro+ and Redmi K30 Ultra will be launched on the same day and at the same event.
According to TENAA, this phone will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080. Its renders show no front camera on the front of the device, suggesting it may use a pop-up camera. The phone will come with a 4400mAh battery and support up to 33W fast charging. It is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset.
This phone will feature a quad-camera setup, with a 64MP main camera on the back and a 20MP front camera. It will be available in 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB of RAM, as well as 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of storage, and with multiple color options. It will also feature an under-display fingerprint scanner.
