Redmi will launch the Redmi K50 series on March 17th. This phone will be launched alongside several new devices, including the Redmi Book Pro.
This morning, Redmi officially announced that the Redmi K50 will come with a 5000mAh battery and also support 120W charging.
In another post, the company also mentioned that the battery can be fully charged in just 19 minutes, thanks to Climbing Technology.
It is worth mentioning that this 120W charging solution utilizes its self-developed P1 charging chip and advanced 4:1 charging pump in a new generation of single-cell solutions, which enables this level of fast charging. In addition, a deeper look at the launch poster also revealed that the device will come with a Type-C port.
According to previous reports, the Redmi K50 series will be available in three versions: K50, K50 Pro and K50 Pro+. The K50 Pro will be powered by the Dimensity 9000 and will feature Samsung’s 2K AMOLED flexible display.
In addition, the other two models will feature the Dimensity 8100 (in K50 Pro) and the Snapdragon 870 (in K50). However, the display or any other significant specifications of both devices are not confirmed at the moment.
