Redmi K70 series Officially Coming on November 29

For a long time, it was rumored that Redmi (the sub-brand of Xiaomi) would soon officially announce its Redmi K70 series. Moreover, the chipsets that are expected to be featured on these models in this series are also now launched. However, today the officials have finally made an official announcement and have addressed this rumor.

This morning, Redmi officially revealed that the all-new Redmi K70 series will be launched on November 29 at 7 PM (as per Chinese timing). In the official launch poster, it can be seen that the new Redmi K70 series will adopt the flat frame design and the camera bumps also seem to be huge, the same as Apple’s latest iPhone models.

In addition, the officials also mentioned that this lineup is the result of Redmi’s 10-year progress. Furthermore, the consumers would also be able to witness a revolution in terms of performance and artificial intelligence in this series.

As per previous news, the Redmi K70 series would consist of three models including the Redmi K70E, Redmi K70, and Redmi K70 Pro. The base Redmi K70E model would be powered by Dimensity 8300 chipset which is a sub-flagship segment chipset.

The chipset is based on 4nm manufacturing process and has 4x Cortex-A715 P-Cores (1x clocked @3.35GHz and rest 3x clocked @3.2GHz) and 4x Cortex-A510 E-Cores (clocked @2.2GHz).

Next, we have the standard Redmi K70. However, at the moment, it is not known whether which would chipset, it will feature. At last, we have the Redmi K70 Pro that is officially confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 chipset, the best you can get from Qualcomm.

The chipset is based on TSMC’s latest 4nm manufacturing process and features 1x Cortex-X4 Ultra Core, 5x Cortex-A720 P-Cores and 2x Cortex-A520 E-Cores.

In the coming days, Redmi is expected to tease many new highlights of its all-new flagship series until the launch event happens.
