In November 2022, Redmi launched the Redmi Note 12 series. According to the latest news, Redmi will launch a successor before the end of this month.
This morning, Redmi announced that the Redmi Note 13 series will launch this month. Redmi also revealed key highlights of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+.
The first highlight is the main camera lens. The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will feature a Samsung ISOCELL HP3 200MP lens and a custom sensor. The device also integrates Xiaomi imaging AI technology to improve photo quality.
The second highlight is the chipset. The phone will come with a Dimensity 7200-Ultra chipset, which has not been officially announced. However, it will be an overclocked version of the Dimensity 7200, which is a mid-range chipset.
The Dimensity 7200 is manufactured using a 4nm process and has two Cortex-A715 cores and six Cortex-A510 cores. The chipset also includes a Mali-G610 MP4 GPU and a 5G modem, and supports MediaTek 5G UltraSave 2.0 technology.
It is worth mentioning that its predecessor also has a 200MP lens, so this is not a new feature for the series. However, improvements are expected in other areas, such as performance.
