In November 2022, Redmi introduced its Redmi Note 12 series, which included three models. The top-end model Redmi Note 12 Pro+ was powered by the Dimensity 1080 chipset. As per the latest info from the industry, the company is going to launch the successor models before the end of this month.
This morning, Redmi (on Weibo) officially announced that the all-new Redmi Note 13 series is on the way and will be launched this month. In addition to that, the company also revealed the significant highlights of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+, the top-of-the-line variant in this upcoming series.
The first highlight is regarding the primary camera lens of this model. The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will be equipped with Samsung’s ISOCELL HP3 200MP lens with a customized outsole sensor. In addition, the device is also integrated with Xiaomi’s Imaging AI technology that enhances the quality of your captured images.
The second and last highlight is the chipset of Redmi Note 13 Pro+. The all-new Redmi’s model will be powered by Dimensity 7200-Ultra chipset. The chipset hasn’t been officially announced yet; however, it would be the overclocked version of the standard Dimensity 7200 that lies in the mid-range category.
The standard Dimensity 7200 is based on a 4nm manufacturing process and features 2x Cortex-A715 P-Cores (clocked @2.8GHz) and 6x Cortex-A510 E-Cores (clocked @2.0GHz). The chipset also comes with Mali-G610 MP4 GPU and a standard 5G modem that supports MediaTek 5G UltraSave 2.0 technology.
It is worth mentioning that the predecessor model also features a 200MP lens, so that wouldn’t be something like an innovation in this lineup. However, improvement in other aspects like performance is expected.
At the moment, the information regarding the Redmi Note 13 series is minimal.
