It was highly rumored that Samsung will launch the FE edition of its Galaxy S23 series very soon. The FE model usually comes with the same appearance and has flagship-level specifications at a lower price (when compared with standard models). The latest news from the industry is denoting that this model’s launch isn’t that far.
This morning, the all-new Galaxy S23 FE was listed on TENAA, revealing the device’s specifications and appearance. Both aspects of the device are mentioned below:
- 6.3 inches Display with Full-HD+ Resolution (2340 x 1080)
- 16 Million Display’s Color Depth
- Dimensions: 158.0×76.5×8.2(mm) and Weight: 210g
- Octa-Core chipset with peak 2.99GHz frequency
- 4370mAh Battery Capacity
- Triple Rear Camera Setup (50MP+8MP+12MP) and Front 10MP Lens
- Under Display Fingerprint Sensor
- 8GB RAM with 128GB, 256GB Storage
The display would probably be the Single Centered Punch-Hole AMOLED Display as it comes with an under-screen fingerprint sensor, and usually AMOLED Displays feature it. In addition, the display size and device’s dimensions confirm that it would be a compact device.
On the backside, the device features the same camera layout as we have seen in the Galaxy S23 series. It is worth mentioning that the camera lens also supports 3x optical zoom.
The chipset has the following frequencies: 2.99GHz peak frequency, 2.4GHz on P-Cores and 1.7GHz on E-Cores. Through frequency, it is concluded that this chipset is probably the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset, which is not the latest but still a good flagship.
In terms of charging, the Galaxy S23 FE might feature 25W fast charging in addition to a 4370mAh battery. Samsung’s devices are still limited to a maximum of 25W charging, whereas other Android smartphone manufacturers are moving toward 300W fast charging.
The launch date of Galaxy S23 FE isn’t yet known. However, the certification denotes that it will happen soon.
