Not a long ago, Intel announced the all-new 12th Gen Core CPUs, and now every laptop/PC manufacturing company is upgrading their models to the latest Intel chipsets. As per the latest news, Redmi is also not behind this race. The company is also looking forward to upgrading its laptop models.
This morning, Redmi has officially announced that the company will launch the new 2022 RedmiBook Pro on March 17 at 7 PM (Chinese Timing). In the official launch announcement, the company has said:
“This time, the RedmiBook Pro is positioned to be upgraded, to challenge the peak performance of thin and light notebooks for your reckless love, and to create a ruthless character with soaring combat power, whose performance is beyond imagination.” From this, we can expect a considerable upgrade in RedmiBook in terms of being lightweight, thin/slim, and having a more powerful performance.
It is worth mentioning that a few days ago, the RedmiBook Pro (2022) was also listed on Geekbench 5 site. The listing revealed that the notebook is powered by the latest 12th Generation Intel Core i7-12650H Processor.
In terms of specifications, the chipset features a total of 10 cores (six performance cores and four energy-efficient cores) and 16 threads, with a boost frequency up to 4.7GHz. It also comes with a 45W basic power consumption, 24MB L3 cache, and also features the 64EU 1.4GHz (max) Core Display.
The notebook scored 1800 points on Single-Core and 11872 points on Multi-Cores (in Geekbench listing), a massive improvement compared with last year’s Intel Core 11th Gen CPUs.
Currently, the officials haven’t revealed anything regarding the appearance and specifications of the RedmiBook Pro 2022.
