Samsung‘s upcoming new product is the Galaxy A series 2023. Recently, leaks and rumors about the upcoming device have been circulating on the internet. However, today we have seen a significant leak that answers almost all the questions about the Galaxy A-series devices.
This morning, the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G were listed on the Google Play Console, revealing the official renders of the devices and some basic specifications.
The Galaxy A34 5G features a U-shaped notch display that supports 2340 x 1080 resolution and 450 PPI screen density. The smartphone comes with a MediaTek MT6877V/TTZA chipset, which is the codename for the Dimensity 1080 chipset.
The chipset features two Cortex-A78 cores at 2.5GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz. The GPU is an ARM-Mali G68. The device comes with 6GB of RAM and runs the latest Android 13 operating system.
The Galaxy A34 5G features a vertical camera layout, just like what we have seen in the Galaxy S23 series. It has three cameras (according to sources, 48MP, 8MP, and 2MP) along with a small LED flash.
The Galaxy A54 5G features a punch-hole display with the exact resolution and screen density as the Galaxy A34 5G. However, its chipset is different. The Galaxy A54 5G will feature the Exynos 1380, which has the codename Samsung s5e8835.
The chipset is based on a 5nm EUV manufacturing process and has the following cores: four Cortex-A78 at 2.4GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz. The GPU is a Mali-G68. The Galaxy A54 5G also comes with 6GB of RAM and runs the latest Android 13 operating system.
The Galaxy A54 5G also has the same back design as the Galaxy A34 5G. However, the camera specifications are expected to be a bit different. The primary lens is expected to be a 50MP lens, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5MP macro lens.
At the moment, Samsung is expected to reveal its Galaxy A series 2023 in March 2023 at the UNPACKED event.
