Samsung will launch a new budget smartphone called Galaxy M04. Its support page is already live on the official Samsung India website. This device has also appeared on Geekbench and Bluetooth certification.
The official support page on the Samsung India website gives the smartphone’s model number as SM-M045F/DS, but it does not reveal much about the features, design, hardware, software, or price. With the support page going live, we expect the device to be available to everyone soon.
Today, the device appeared on Google Play Console, and the listing reveals some of its specifications, including the render, chipset, screen, memory, operating system, and more.
According to the Google Play Console, the Samsung Galaxy M04 will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6765 (Helio G35) chipset. The chipset is built on a 12nm process and has four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.3 GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz, a PowerVR GE83200 GPU, and a 4G modem. It also offers 3GB of RAM, but the internal storage was not revealed.
The Samsung Galaxy M04 features a 720 x 1600 display, but the screen size is not revealed. There is a waterdrop notch in the center of the screen for the front-facing camera. The device runs Android 12 out of the box.
There are rumors that the Samsung Galaxy M04 is a rebranded version of the Galaxy A04e, which is expected to come with a 6.5-inch LCD display. It may feature a dual-rear camera module with a 13MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. It will have a 5MP front camera in the waterdrop notch of the screen.
