Sony has previously revealed the FX6’s appearance, which seems to be a shorter version of the FX9. It uses an ND control panel almost identical to the FX9’s, but with a more streamlined design. The FX6 is entirely developed on a professional camcorder platform. Its design, layout, and grip feel are more in line with the operating habits of film and television cinematographers.

The company didn’t reveal any specifications for the new FX6 camera. Some rumors claimed that the FX6 may feature a 5.7K Super35 sensor, slightly lower than the FX9’s 6K sensor.

This series includes the VENICE and FX9 cameras. Once the FX6 is launched, the Cinema Line product line will be officially formed, and the FX6 will become the most lightweight model in the lineup.
