Recently, a Reddit user leaked spy photos of the Sony Xperia H8216 smartphone, along with its specifications.
According to the leaked images, the phone will feature a 5.48-inch FHD screen with 1920 x 1080 resolution and be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor. It features a 15 MP front camera for selfies and a dual rear camera setup with two 12 MP lenses. The H8216 will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
The device will feature a 3130mAh battery (unconfirmed) and run Android 8.1. The phone measures 148 x 73.4 x 7.4 mm, weighs 156 grams, and supports IP65/68 dust and water resistance.
The Xperia H8216 is considered Sony’s next-generation flagship and is expected to launch in 2018. Just as the Sony XZP was the first smartphone to feature the Snapdragon 835 processor, this phone will be the first to feature the Snapdragon 845 processor.
