In June 2023, Vivo introduced the latest models in its Vivo S lineup by launching the all-new Vivo S17 series. This series has a total of four models now, and the recent development denotes that the company is looking forward to releasing the next-generation models of this lineup.
This morning, a new model from Vivo, which carries the model number “Vivo V2323A,” got listed on 3C Certification. As per sources, the model number belongs to the standard Vivo S18. The 3C Certification mentions the charging specifications of the device.
As mentioned, the new Vivo S18 will use the same 80W FlashCharge adaptor that Vivo has already used in previous S lineup models. The charger carries the model number: V8073L0A0-CN and supports charging in following modes: 15W (5V/3A), 18W (9V/2A) and 80.3W (11V/7.3A).
Except for this, the 3C Certification didn’t consist of anything more. However, it is worth mentioning that in the coming days, the other models in the Vivo S18 series are also expected to be listed on this certification site.
In the previous Vivo S17 series, there were four models: Vivo S17, Vivo S17 Pro, Vivo S17t, and Vivo S17e. The standard model also used the same 80W charging and was powered by Snapdragon 778G+ chipset, a premium mid-range segment chipset from Qualcomm.
As expected, the new standard Vivo S18 might ditch Qualcomm and would be powered by a Dimensity 8000 series chipset. Most probably, this would be the unannounced Dimensity 8300 chipset that would feature a Cortex-X3 Super Core, 3x Cortex-A715 P-Cores, and 4x Cortex-A510 E-Cores.
At the moment, the information regarding the Vivo S18 series is minimal.
