1. Before placing an order, please make sure your old heatsink number matches our part number.
2. To replace the heatsink and cooling fan, you need to turn off the laptop and disconnect all external devices connected to the laptop.
3. Remove the battery and the service cover from the bottom.
4. Remove all screws securing the keyboard and palmrest.
5. Flip your notebook and open it, remove the keyboard from your laptop.
6. Then, remove the palm rest and tilt off the middle metal frame to access the heat sink.
