Tips:
1. To replace the LCD hinge, you have to loosen all the screws that secure the bottom cover and then slowly pry open the bottom cover with an old card or thin plastic tool.
2. After removing the bottom cover, disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard. This step is very important. Otherwise, your laptop may be damaged due to a short circuit.
3. Disconnect the video cable and camera cable from the motherboard.
4. Remove all screws securing the left and right hinge, and then you can remove the LCD hinge from your T490 laptop.
