Vivo Pad Air was officially announced, specs revealed

A few days ago, it was reported that Vivo was working on a new tablet device called the Vivo Pad Air. The tablet is also listed on the 3C certification, revealing its charging specifications.

This morning, the vice president of Vivo China officially unveiled the Vivo Pad Air. This will be Vivo’s third tablet device, but its specifications will be at the sub-flagship level. He also revealed the specifications of the vivo Pad Air, which are detailed below.

The Vivo Pad Air features an 11.5-inch bezel-less LCD display with a 2.8K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It also supports an adaptive refresh rate, which allows the screen to adjust its refresh rate according to the usage scenario to reduce battery consumption.

The screen also supports DCI-P3 wide color gamut with a 3:2 aspect ratio. The tablet will be powered by a Snapdragon 870 5G chipset. On the back, the tablet has a 13MP lens in a round camera module.

The Snapdragon 870 5G chipset is based on a 7nm manufacturing process and has four Cortex-A77 cores and four Cortex-A55 cores. It also comes with an Adreno 650 GPU.

The VP also revealed that the Vivo Pad Air will come with an 8500mAh battery with 44W fast charging. The tablet has a thickness of 6.67 mm and weighs around 530g. At the bottom, the tablet has four speakers with a large sound chamber that supports Super Audio Computing sound effects.

The Vivo Pad Air also has some highlights, such as support for the Vivo Pencil. It runs on the latest OriginOS 3 and will be available in three colors: Free Blue, Brave Pink, and Easy Silver.
