Vivo Pad2 Live Images Revealed: Same Design and Dimensity 9000 SoC

It is known that Vivo is very near to officially announcing its all-new foldable flagship devices, including the successor of its tablet Vivo Pad. Previously, the Vivo Pad has also been listed on various certification sites, but today we got a look at the significant leak of Vivo’s all-new flagship tablet.

This morning, the blogger @Panda is Bald (on Weibo) revealed the live images of Vivo Pad2. In live images, various aspects of Vivo’s upcoming tablet can be observed. At first, it can be seen that the camera module now has a separate bump from the surface. However, it still has a circle shape and will feature dual camera lenses.

We have the same display design on the front side as in the previous model. However, as reported previously, the size has increased to 12 inches (from 11 inches) and now it supports a 144Hz refresh rate. The front screen image also mentions that the tablet would be powered by Dimensity 9000 chipset.

The chipset is based on TSMC’s 4nm manufacturing process and features the following cores: 1x Cortex-X2 Super Core (clocked @3.05GHz), 3x Cortex-A710 Performance Cores (clocked @2.85GHz) and 4x Cortex-A510 Energy-Efficient Cores (clocked @2.5GHz). The GPU is ARM Mali-G710 MC10. It is worth mentioning that the previous model was powered by Snapdragon 870, a sub-flagship segment SoC.

It is also mentioned that the Vivo Pad2 will be available in a total 16GB RAM (8GB original + 8GB virtually extended RAM) variant in addition to 128 Gigs of storage. Regarding OS, the latest OriginOS 3 will be part of Vivo’s upcoming flagship tablet.

At the moment, it is expected that Vivo will launch its Vivo Pad2 along with Vivo X Fold2 and Vivo X Flip next month (April 2023).
