In December 2022, OPPO introduced its OPPO Find N2 (horizontally) foldable flagship phone, powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset. However, the latest information from the industry denotes that the company is looking forward to releasing the successor model.
This morning, the famous blogger @DigitalChatStation (on Weibo) revealed the specifications of OPPO’s new machine, which seems to be the next-generation foldable flagship “OPPO Find N3,” as per sources.
As per the blogger, the expected OPPO Find N3 will feature a large-sized display that would size around 8 inches and support 2.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It is worth mentioning that the previous model features a 7.1 inches display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The cover display specifications are not mentioned by the blogger.
In terms of chipset, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset, the latest and most powerful SoC from Qualcomm. The chipset is based on TSMC’s 4nm manufacturing process and features 1x Cortex-X3 Super Core, 2x Cortex-A715 and 2x Cortex-A710 P-Cores, and 3x Cortex-A510 E-Cores.
Regarding the camera, the expected OPPO Find N3 will feature a triple rear camera setup including the following lenses: 50MP Sony IMX890 (OIS Supported) Primary lens, 48MP Sony IMX581 Ultra-Wide Angle lens, and OPPO’s L07D1W22 Periscope Lens.
For front-side image capturing, OPPO will use a 20MP and a 32MP OV32C on its new device. However, it is unknown which lens would be used in cover display and primary display. In terms of battery, a 4805mAh sufficient-sized battery will power this model.
In the end, the blogger also mentioned that this device would be ultra-thin, hinting toward a slim successor of OPPO Find N2. It is worth noting that the current model (OPPO Find N2) has a thickness of 7.4mm.
At the moment, the information regarding OPPO’s new foldable flagship is very minimal.
