Reports suggest that Vivo is planning to expand its S10 lineup with another device, but this time with a more affordable price tag. Recently, the Vivo V2130A was listed on Geekbench, and the same device also appeared on several certification sites.
According to our sources, the Vivo V2130A belongs to the Vivo S10 series and will be named Vivo S10e 5G. The “e” represents that it will be the lighter and more affordable version of the Vivo S10. It is already known that the Vivo S10e 5G will feature a Dimensity 900 chipset.
With this chipset, the device scored 709 points on single-core and 2199 points on multi-core. The scores are a bit lower compared to other Dimensity 900-powered smartphones, but we can expect better performance on the retail units.
Like the Dimensity 1200 chipset, the Dimensity 900 also supports 5G connectivity. The chipset is based on TSMC’s 6nm manufacturing process and uses two Cortex-A78 cores for premium performance at the mid-range level.
In addition, the Vivo S10e 5G in Geekbench has 8 GB RAM and runs the latest Android 11 OS.
Previous reports revealed that the vivo S10e 5G will feature a single punch-hole display with Full-HD+ resolution. The 3C certification shows it supports 44W fast charging.
There have been rumors that it would be the vivo X70, but it has now been confirmed to be the Vivo S10e 5G. Currently, there is no information about the launch date.
